Kehrer played right back for PSG last season, he's played in a Champions League final there and seems to be good enough to be Germany's first choice there.

I'm not buying it that he isn't good enough for us to be playing right back.

Mostly agree there. I don't think we've got any full-backs at the club who are good enough. Ashby - maybe, but he seems determined to leave.

I'd like to see us have 2 or 3 top strikers. Not including Antonio.

OK, maybe just above average would do. The kind of option where we don't have to play Bowen up front. Or Antonio.

Re: Next 2 transfer windows
I like what little i have seen of Ashby but there seems to be an issue there within the club that needs sorting .
The full back positions are by far the biggest priority at the club now ,sadly i don't think Johnson is up to the level required and as much as i like Cresswell we need to improve at left back but i feel this will not be easy .

Re: Next 2 transfer windows
Most of those who are past it/not good enough/likely to leave are British players, so we'll need to buy British again to keep up our home grown numbers, which severely limits who we can buy, and at what price. If people thought the last couple of windows were bad, I wouldn't hold out much hope for the next ones.

Re: Next 2 transfer windows
I think we'll need players all over the pitch that could challenge the first team, bar right back where it looks like we have enough cover.

So yeah, about 9 or 10 players that could challenge for the first team. Pretty much similar to last season. My guess is that we haven't learnt any lessons from last season, and we'll limp through the season and buy a load more players next summer.

Re: Next 2 transfer windows
the problem is moyes still showing favouritism to certain players that should be moved on, so the only areas where I think we're short are CB and out wide. an attacking midfielder that can play on either side would be nice and give us four that can do the job, and allow bowen to play central if one of the two main strikers gets injured
